Well it would most probably beat both the Taxi and Team Penguin down the strip so don't be too bummed.

i would been quite interested to know what my old vs did, cause with the manual, exhaust and slight engine mods, it shoulda gone ok.

but yea, will let you know next time we plan to head down, and if you plan to head down sometime let us know too.

what width rims do you have with the 275's on them?

cause my rims are 8.5 inch wide, and i'm thinking i might go 265's on them on the rear when i'm up for tyres

get 4 chaser rims take them a machine shop, get them to cut them and weld them so you will end up with 2 rims that are 9" to 9.5" wide put some 285 tyres on them, cant think of the place over a cardiff where i got my rims machined when i remember their name will let you know.

promacs in cardiff industrial.

if im wanting to get more into drag, i'll just grab some off ebay already done.

there are 8" chasers going everynow and then on there, sometimes with drag radials and that already on them.

but im not really that serious on dragging, so not really gonna chuck money at it, my car already takes enough of my money as it is Smile

also checked spark plugs the other day, and they are fine, so i need to find the time to keep investigating.

i had the H/U out again the other day, cause the face wasnt flipping down right, and i think one of the gears inside is damaged, i fiddled with it and got i working, but yea, i think a gear has some teeth broken. its working now though, so i'll leave it be until it stops ejecting cds again Smile

put a brake booster in today, dont need to jumpe up and down on the pedal to make the car stop Smile

it was one of wagonz spare ones from a vk v8 (cause he has my spare VS one...) and it was rusty and that, so i wire wheeled it back and painted it black, not a good job, but better then rust.

I also started polishing up one of the engine covers, and i think it looks good, so the engine covers are getting acid dipped tomorrow to strip all the paint off, then i will start down the hard road of polishing Smile

i've rethought, and i think i might go for powder coating the engine covers black, or maybe even the original gts grey colour, also get the strut brace tops done to match.

small update, no photos yet though Neutral

I got some new tail lights, dont worry, they are not chrome bling ones, just aftermarket replica's, got the clear indicator ones. also took the spoiler off, i like the look of it without the spoiler, though the boot needs fixing, as it now has 6 holes plugs with black gooey stuff...

dropped in the spare subs sitting round, and wired in (oh no) a audiobahn 8000T (why are there so many of these things...)

but yea, a couple old pioneer 12's in sealed, firing back up into the boot, sounding quite good (well compared to no subs anyway)
