Hey guys, just curious on what PC's everyone out there uses.

I'll chuck mine up and see where we go from there.

Desktop PC
CPU: PentiumD 3.4Ghz (Dual core)
RAM: 2Gb ddr2 Ram (667Mhz)
Video: XFX Geforce 8800GS (384mb)
PSU: Vantec 500watt
HDD: 250gb + 1000GB
DVD: Sony sata DVD durner
Monitor: Samsung 22" LCD
Mouse: Logitec Gaming Mouse

3dMark06 score: 6000

Laptop
CPU: Core2 Duo 2.2Ghz
RAM: 4gb ddr2
Video: Geforece 8600M
HDD: 250gb
Monitor: 1680x1050 resolution LCD
Mouse: Dell bluetooth mouse

3dMark06 score: 2928

i hav an asus laptop lol. thats 1 year old. if i can find something that says the specs ill write them up (pulled off the sticker 2 put on a different one)

Mouse: touchpad but logitech wireless (misplaced atm lol)

yea, laptops typically arent that great for gaming, unless you spend decent money on them.

I built my desktop PC for about $500, (not including 1tb hdd or monitor) and i can fully max the graphics on COD4, which i must say looks pretty sweet at max, and also runs Grid at near max settings.

I guess since i dont have a console, i like my PC to do gaming pretty well.

ohh yea. i knew they wernt so good for games lol. n mine aint the best for games lol. although playing games on pc's are great, i just kinda have always played on console lol. so i guess thats just what i prefer. but its always good playing on pc's 2.
sounds lyk you have a pretty xtreme setup tho lol.

nah, mine isnt that crazy, if i had it about 2 years ago it would been pretty crazy.

i'll be building a new one sometime soon Smile

yea, also have a logitec wireless gamepad, cant play my grid on the keyboard no way.

yea, that is the reason i'm gonna be looking at a new machine soon

I could run that on my computer, but i'm pretty close to min specs Sad

wagonz computer should smash it though, once he buys a video card and stops borrowing mine...

haha. i take it you kno quiet a bit about computers??
i rekon theyre pretty interesting. just have trouble understnading everything lol.
are them specs for the terminator game lyk really high. or something. or need a fairly good pc to play it?

Well on the actual box of the game if you look at it it has written 1024Gb of Ram in minimum specs but of course this is wrong coz if you turned on that computer the rest of the state may loose power.

Yeah it's pretty brand new out so the specs would be kinda high I guess but I would love to know the game with the highest specs out there.

msi motherboard looking at changing for better overclocking
2g ddr2 800, will change to probly 4g 1000
500g sata hd
19' Benq moniter
jozlods 8600 video card, looking at something around the 4890 or gtx260

running xp daemon tools and gta 4 didnt work with 7
