I'm looking for a new amp to power my 2 kicker cvrs

DCV 2ohm
400rms each

I'm wanting 1000rms minimum @ 2ohm, preferably 1200rms or over

just wondering if anyone has any ideas on any good amps that will do me good. Size isnt really a concern, i want something that will go all day every day and be decent quality, and not under power my subs again, cheap is good, but not if it means i have another dodgey amp, happy to go 2nd hand if i can find something. wanting to come in around ~$500 if i can, obviusly 2nd hand is gonna be abit cheaper, new is gonna be abit more, but yea, somewhere around there if possible.

At JB Hifi they only hav 2 amps in that power range there is a alpine mono which is 1000wrms @ 2

yea, they also have a kicker that is 1000rms but its like, $700 or something, and i reckon i can do better then that.

but yea, thanks, i might check out jb at least so i can see what is there at some stage. thinking i might lean towards trying to get something 2nd hand off mea or ebay, i'll see how it goes

dont think u'll find the sort of power ur after at jb but i could be wrong but it wont be cheap

JB do hav 1 or 2 monos that r 1000wrms @ 2

last one that missed out was audiosystem f2-500 for 400

yea, well, i did talk to you about it from atop a mountain out at goulburne river for the short time i had phone reception, so its not exactly like you could ring me back and say i was out bid...

Ok the alpine mono is 667rrp and i can get it for 550 and the kicker is 1499rrp and i can get that for 1100

yea ok, they are both 1000watt right?

i think for now im gonna keep an eye on mea and try and pick something up 2nd hand, but yea, definately keep them in mind.

i wonder is they any reason the alpine is so much cheaper then the kicker amp?
