i've never bothered in the past, the main reason for lowered shocks is so the sprins dont fall out when you jack the car up, but since i'm the only one jacking the car up, i just make sure the springs sit in fine when i put it back down.
that said, the springs just stayed located in my green vs, so i didnt worry about it.
like i said, i keep meaning to check uni's when im under the car on the hoist, just seem to always forget, make sure i do next time.
we did remember to tighten the loose gearbox bolts last time though, as in, one side of the box was loose, sitting out from the block a few mm, not cool.
