Me stitch and kyle came up with the idea of having a BBQ lunch for HVC 2nd birthday which is this Sunday (16th)
meet up at the horse shoe beach carpark(newcastle)
and cruise down to the park at murrays beach..(stitch is getting details about where it is)

meet at horse shoe at around 10.30-11.00
leave about 11.00-11.30
cruise to murrays beach have a BBQ lunch

everybody needs to bring their own meat and drinks
and if people could bring a ball or cricket set etc.. that would be greatly appreciated as it would give everyone something to do on the day.

im juat organising a map now... i thought just have a bbq as it was gettin 2 l8 2 organise other things and sum of us dont have money, so yea y not all have lunch 2gether and play on the feilds n stuff

yea me, jen, tom & meg went there last night 2 check over a few things, its realy nice from wat i could c in the dark lol, but yea 4 bbq's bout 50cm x 50cm so there big, and plenty of chairs, parks abit small right down the bottom but if its just us in there well we will box each other in lol

Yeah it was fun checking it out last night and the drive was good too.

Hopefully we'll get there for the 2nd Birthday.

May I suggest a minor (VERY minor) change? Turning right at the bottom of Wommara Ave. (which gmaps won't let you do, but the lights let you) would cut a small amount of floraville road out, and get us away from the pac highway a bit sooner. Picture:



I know it's only little and it complicates things a bit, but there's always buses and other slow moving cars turning at the pac highway/floraville Rd intersection. Yesterday I got stuck behind a massive truck doing between 30-50k's the entire length of that street, and I'd like to avoid that kind of thing.

Also, odds are I'll be too sick to work (but not too sick to drive) on the day of the cruise, so I've got a good chance of attending.

EDIT: Also, Dick smith have a twin pack of handheld CBs for $60 if anyone wants to go halves (so it's $30 each) gimme a PM and I'll pick them up on sat.
