Yeah, used to do a fair bit of gaming, but found other things to spend my money on, so the pc is getting a little neglected at the moment. Am also ironing out the kinks in my girls corolla as well.

The 8800GTS is now a dinosaur compaired to the newer cards, also the RAM needs an upgrade to at least DDR2 800.

, need to bump it up a bit further but I think my RAM is dodgy
4GB Kingston 800 (bought from computer fair, I think it's mislabelled 667 because the PC won't post if I bump the FSB too high, can't even get to 400)
8800GT, looking for something a bit better as COD4 is starting to artifact occasionally. A new GPU cooler might fix the problem but I'd prefer a whole new card Razz
750GB hard drive
Gigabyte P35 mobo, can't remember exact model.
CPU cooler is a TRUE 120, case is a Lian Li PCA6010. Beautiful bloody thing it is. Just need to take out the 140mm fan it comes with and throw my green LED 120mm in for more prettiness. Got some 10cm green cold cathodes as well, and going to buy a green cable sleeving kit from murdermod once my car's stereo is done and I buy a decent PSU.

so have you got a locked multipler like wagonz, cause i remember when i used to fiddle, i would leave the ram as is, and just bump up the mulitplier to get more out of my amd2000+ Smile

also, my 8800gs doesnt falter of cod4, runs everything maxed at 1680x1050
so it shouldnt be the actual cards problem for you, maybe cooling, but yea, i get what you mean, might as well get a new card instead of a new cooler.

cable sleeving hey, maybe i should get back into case modding, i used to cut out bits to fit extra fans, wire and solder them in, i had it so i could run my fans from 12v or 5v for two different speeds, stuff everywhere, ah fun times.

here is what my case currently looks like inside, nothing fancy, just tidy, oh yea, and btx Neutral

yea, now i dont have the best pc in the house anymore Sad

also, you need a new screen so you can run at higher resolutions
dual screen 22" and 19" would work very nicely.
I know of a 22" samsung lcd you could buy....

then i can get a 24 Smile
