Yep… you read it right, Powercruise is heading back to Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway 26th, 27th, 28th Feb & 1st March 2009.

GENERAL INFO
For those who know what Powercruise is all about, I’m sure I don't need to tell you it’s just the wildest cruisin car show you’ve ever been to. For everyone else, I guess all I can say is get yourself out to the racetrack to check out what all the fuss is about. Powercruise to the average punter is a car show but to the thousands who have participated over the 5 years that we have been bringing you the fun, will tell you its more than a car show. Powercruise is one of the reasons we build our street machine, hot rods, hi tech imports or what ever your preferred style of car is. This page is designed to answer any questions that you have in regards to being a spectator.

TICKETS
Friday $30
Saturday $35
Sunday $30
3 Day Season Pass $80
3 Day Season Pass + Camping $120
Kids 12 and Under (Entry & Camping) FREE

CAMPING
Camping is available at all Powercruise events around Australia. We supply hot showers that are cleaned as often as required which is pretty often considering the large numbers of campers at our events. There are also ample ladies and mens toilets spread around the venue. This includes both demountable building type toilets as well as portable individual toilets for more urgent matters!!. Camping is available for both entrants and spectators and can be paid at the gate on your arrival or prepaid on entry forms if required. The Camping fee is additional to any advertised entrant fee or daily spectator tickets. Camping costs an additional $40 per person for Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night and is applicable for Brisbane, Sydney and Perth events. That works out to about $13 per night per person. Tasmania and Darwin are the lucky states because the camping fee has been waived for these events due to the limited number of campers and facilities available at the venues. We still ensure adequate toilets are available and some showers are also available.

Powercruise does not book camp sites, we don’t hold sites for anyone. Camping is a first in best dressed deal. Check the venue maps for the allocated camping areas please. Some areas are not permitted to have cars in them and some are so please make sure you read the map at the bottom of this page for all the info.

CHILDREN
Children under the age of 12 are admitted free with a paying adult. Children 13 years of age and over, but younger than 18 years of age are able to be passengers in vehicles crusing the track. No passengers are allowed in cars on the track during all other events accept the cruise sessions. The 13 to 18 year old’s must have a parent present to sign the special indemnity form on their behalf. Powercruise staff need to sight both the parent’s and the child’s photo ID, so passenger armbands can only be issued on the day. We do not accept notes or letters from parents if they will not present on the day. We also understand that children 13 and over will have photo id as part of their student id program. This is is required as well as the parents photo id in order to allow a child 13 and over to be a passenger in a car in a cruise session. We have these strick rules to run by and they will not be bent for any reason.

ACCOMMODATION
3 Day Season Camping Pass holders may camp at the track from Thursday night. Passes are available at the gate or you can pre-purchase your pass from this website. Hot showers close to the campground area. There are plenty of hotels and motels available in Sydney. Check out some of the websites like Wotif, Check-in or Need to Escape.

EATERY
From Friday, there will be a number of fast food outlets located around Eastern Creek Raceway. Spectators are permitted to bring their own food however please note that glass and alcohol must not be brought into the venue. Car and bag checks will be conducted at the venue entry points. Powercruise campers will be allowed to bring small gas BBQs into the campground area.

PARKING
Free Parking will be available to all Powercruise ticket holders. Camping pass holders will be able to park their car in the venue within the dedicated camping areas surrounding the circuit.

FACILITIES
Eastern Creek Raceway will have all your needs covered from places to grab something to eat and drink to showers and toilets. Refer to the venue map for the location of your need.

PASSENGER CRUISING
Over the weekend there will be hours of cruising, so spectators can jump in their mates car, and cruise the track along side hundreds of like minded petrolheads… that’s what Powercruise is about after all… doing all the things your not allowed to do anywhere else! However there are a few special requirements all passengers should be aware of…

All passengers who want to get on track in the cruising sessions MUST be at least 13 years of age and each passenger must have a Passenger Armband. Passenger armbands are available for a gold coin donation into a charity tin from the official Powercruise Merchandise Stand.

All passengers must fill out and sign an indemnity form and provide photo ID (drivers licence or student ID for persons under 1Cool and a Passenger Armband will be provided. Persons 13 years of age and over, but younger than 18 years of age must have a parent present to sign the indemnity form on their behalf. Powercruise staff need to sight both the parent’s and the child’s photo ID, so passenger armbands can only be issued on the day. We cannot accept notes or letters from parents if they will not present.

Passenger Armbands do not entitle that person to drive. Passengers are not permitted to ride in cars during the competition driving events, only during the cruise sessions. Helmets and safety gear is not required to ride in a car during the cruise sessions, but passengers are required to wear a seatbelt at all times.
