no, you dont understand

i need a BLUESLIP

if all i needed to do was lift it 2 mm, and go get it cleared i would.

but the copper (who is a douchebag) decided to give me a full blueslip inspection, rather than just get the defect cleared

so i need a blueslip, and i need it now, so dont tell me to just lift it and go do it im not a f*cking retard

So what else is up with it that it wont pass a blue slip.

I've had to get blue slips before to get defects lifted as long as the car meets legal standards it'll pass it.

So obviously you must be really worried your car not passing to not shell out the I think it's $60 to get a blue slip. So obviously there is something really wrong with it and your not saying.

So yeah good luck.

you really should replace a broken cv boot anyways, cause it leads to dirt in the joint, which leads to clunky noises, which ends up costing more anyway.

abit of preventive maintenance is always good.

I've seen people make their own spring compressors, a thread bar, some nuts, some plate, and a welder Smile or something along those lines.

though i understand your frustration, i'd be cut for getting done for been that close to 10cm, i'm getting my exhaust fixed soon, its not quite anywhere near 10cm clearance atm...

good luck getting it all sorted

yeah im planning on doing the boot, i just dunno if ill get time to do it before monday (thats when ive booked in an inspection)

see the problem is, when i went for my last blueslip to get the defect cleared it was about 15cm off teh ground. plenty of space.

but the guy told me that he had to go off the measurement from teh centre of the wheel/hub, to the guard, and this meaasurement needed to be like 245 at the front and 235 at the rear, which made it about 25cm off te ground, and without spring compressors i cant wind the coilovers that high.

thats why i wanted a leniant one that would just say yep 10cm off the ground

ah well just gotta find a compressor

if the cv boot aint ripped only cracked they wont fail u legaly they cant as nothing is leaking out of it (providing there isnt) raising the car 2mm shouldnt b that hard if u got crap in ur boot (spare tyre, subs, amp, jack, genaral junk take it out and it will make a bit of difference and ull pass no worries if there nuffin wrong wit the car, also check bearing movement there crackin down on that allot l8ly
