nice, good to see you making progress and getting stuck into it.

i'm glad to see your going about it properly and that with the whole engineered thing, to many dodgy cars getting around as it is.

must be gonna be time for another cruise soon so you've got an excuse to get it out for a good run again Smile

Ok guys i have some bad news.............

The vl is no more!!! It was ritten off yesterday at 4:00 pm out the front of weston tyre shop (chocko's)
. I was not at fault and the idiot who pulled out in front of me was in the wrong. I am ok no injuries but the vl is a total rite off. so i will be missing for a while. and to jozlod sorry man i kind of need to keep the wheels now.

man, that sucks.

so you getting any money from his insurance? hopefully it at least covers abit of the car.

so is anything salvagable? motor, running gear or anything?
just wondering.

no worries about the rims, i guess i'll just have to keep looking on ebay see if i can find a genuine set somewhere, not the cheap rip offs

glad that your ok atleast, but yea, not much fun at all.

the rims motor and gearbox are all salvagable but not much else the only problem is that to get the wreck back i have to go to pickles auction and bid against other people to get it back.

do you by any chance still have these rims?
i'm happy to come to some kind of deal to do some sort of swap, i'll put in the time and effort, can even fit up tyres for you (got a machine and balancer now)

unles you had them on the VL when i got taken away, but yea, otherwise i would be interested to work something out with cash and or new tyres your way.
