Is it like the aristo with the tank right behind the back seats?
And do you have a hole big enough to fit a twelve in, in the rear parcel shelf like the aristo?

yeah have an 80L tank right behind the back seat which is a real drag! and im not sure about the parcel shelf.... i know the 1uz model (V8 MOD) had a stock 10" in the rear shelf but im not certain with the 1jz model (TWIN TURBO 6CYL) ill take a look today while im at work and see what i can find....... dont think it will be much use though because there is only about 140mm between the top of the tank and the bottom of the shelf?.....
if anything ill let you suss it out on sunday.... curiosity seems to have got the better of me at this point lol

Yeah pretty good day.....Billy and Leo came up, i cant remember some of the results but Bryce did a 142.9 (cooked another sub), Rohan beat me once again with a 149.8, i came in close second ofcourse with 149.6 and Leo did a 154.6 and Billy 160.0.

Not sure what the go was, but scores all round were a little down all day. Maybe the weather or something. But it dosent matter Wink

wagonz ran a 136.7, so his new amp and sub and box work quite ok.

our mate andrew came along, and competed against wagons in street A, it was his first taste of a sound off, he enjoyed the day, and found an extra 3db by pointing his sub up and back, rather then forwards, i dont know his exact number, but it was like, 125 or something like that, he is already talking about wanting to build a ported box now, so we might see him back for more.

i didnt compete, but took the gts out for a drive, and enjoyed the day.
It was sweet to see billys car, and some hair flying around Smile

was a very good day, numbers seemed to be off by about 0.5db, so i will send my termlab away and get it checked and recalibrated if it needs to be.

Yeah thanks to Matt for a good day......I agree with Leo, should seriously look into making these comps proper sanctioned DB drag events, just gotta get the number of entrants up.

I'm looking into many things to improve my comps,
1 is sponsorship, prizes for customers
2 is making them official events, but this creates problems, cost would have to go up to pay for the fee to DB Drag, way around it is to run 2 termlabs, 1 for official competitors and 1 for nomral cometitors, so cost for normal competitors can stay the same, but offical competitors pay $45, but catch is i would need atlest 5-6 official competitors each comp to cover the fee, plus 7-8 normal competitors to cover all costs.

It would be a big deal to SPL as a whole though may even attract some competition from out of state now how big would that be for Newcastle.

We will be trying our best to show up as much as possible to help this and other events succeed. Yes there will be times for us when it won't be possible but we will be doing our best so that it benefit us all as a whole and we're sure others will follow suit.

i do know we all have our own commitments, but i have noticed a steady decline in numbers (newcastle competitors) to my events, the last 2 events have seen 6 local guys each time enter the event, it has been the sydney guys that have been bumping the enterent numbers up. And when you add to the equation to 3 of the local cometitors will be competing in the offical event it's not looking good.

i do hope so, as i only just cover cost of the comps now without a large fee to pay to termpro to make it a offical sanctioned event.
